The project aims to develop and promote the better use of data within the agriculture and food sector. By leveraging data technologies, the project seeks to achieve improved outcomes and adapt agricultural production to climate change in an environmentally and socio-economically sustainable manner. The partnership aims to support sustainable agriculture in Europe as well as strengthen policy monitoring and evaluation capacities, by using the potential that digital and data technologies in combination with Earth observation (EO) and other environmental and agricultural data offer.
Building a sustainable future requires commitment, innovation, and responsibility.
Sustainable agriculture is essential for ensuring long-term food security and environmental health. It is therefore vital to implement practices that enhance productivity, conserve resources, protect ecosystems, and support the livelihoods of farming communities. Additionally, fostering innovation across the agricultural sector is crucial to addressing climate challenges and future food demands.
We leverage data and advanced data technologies to monitor and adapt agricultural practices, addressing both climate adaptation and mitigation. Our work focuses on using these tools to enhance sustainability, productivity, and resilience in the agriculture and food sectors, ensuring long-term food security and environmental health.
Preserving the planet is a worldwide endeavor, so we collaborate with organizations and institutions across the globe to adapt to climate threats.
